Keto Snacks

Throughout the years, I’ve discovered some of my favorite Keto snacks that always satisfy and keep me on track with my eating plan.

Being able to snack and still lose weight has been an amazing discovery. I especially love to bring my own treats to the movie theatre.

While I do enjoy keeping thing simple and buy most things ready to go, I also like to experiment in the kitchen.

Here are some of my best creations that regularly make their way into my weekly meal plan!

Pickled Beet Egg Recipe (Keto, Gluten Free)

Have you ever had the opportunity to try a Pickled Beet Egg? Growing up, we would typically only have them during the holidays, usually for Easter or Christmas. Since I started Keto, they’ve been making a regular appearance in my meal plans. In addition to the holidays, they’re an awesome ready-to-eat snack option and the…

Keto Mozzarella Sticks are a kid-friendly snack that is super tasty and easy to prepare. In addition to being Keto-friendly, they’re also gluten-free — enjoy without the guilt! Keep a few batches stocked in the freezer for a delicious appetizer whenever you like. I’ve always been a fan of mozzarella sticks. If they were offered…

Broccoli & Cheese ‘Chaffles’ Keto Waffles | Easy Low Carb Breakfast

Thanks to Instagram, I’ve been completely obsessed with preparing different variations of Keto waffles. While some recipes call for almond milk, cream cheese or whipped cream, my savory recipe features broccoli and cheese. At first, I wasn’t sure how they’d turn out. Broccoli sometimes smells a little funky to me, which was definitely a concern.…

Low Carb Cornbread

When I started the Keto diet, I thought that a low carb cornbread was just impossible. It is, after all, made from corn. Crispy Prosciutto Chips

Back when I first started eating low carb, I was on a mission to find a suitable substitute for potato chips. Now, I’m really fond of my Cheesy Cheddar Crisps, but sometimes you just need a little variety. After discovering the beauty of pepperoni chips, I always wondered if the same would work for other…

Chocolate Almond Butter Cups

As a child, I remember waking up on Easter morning to the savory smell of ham baking in the oven, my siblings laughing and the rustling of candy wrappers that could be heard from rooms away. Digging through my Easter basket, I couldn’t possibly be bothered by the chocolate bunny or brightly colored marshmallow chicks.…

Crispy Daikon Fries

One of my ultimate comfort foods is a big plate of french fries topped with bacon and cheddar cheese! While I do still sometimes indulge in these (no worries, I still make everything myself without gluten/strange ingredients), I am always looking for side dishes that I can make on a more regular basis that are…

Keto Coconut Macaroons

Every once in a while, I get a craving for something sweet. And when I say that, I really mean once in a while. One day, I was browsing my grocery store and noticed that there were some pre-packaged coconut macaroons for sale, highlighting the words, “Gluten-Free!” I took a look at the ingredient list…

Maytag Blue Cheese Pork Rinds

When I visited Columbus, Ohio for the first time in 2009, I started my culinary excavation at a locally-recommended diner called Cap City.  On the outside, it looked like a very traditional run-of-the-mill diner you’d see anywhere.  On the inside, it was like being transported to a chic European bistro. Already intrigued by the surprising interior,…

Keto Chocolate Fatbombs

Fat bombs are something that I have been hearing around different low carb communities for years.  It wasn’t until recently that I accidentally fell in love with them!  Now you know that I’m not a huge fan of sweets and desserts (as mentioned in my Keto Raspberry Swirl Cheesecake recipe), but these delightful bites of…

Crispy Cheddar Crisps: Easy Keto Cheese Chips

One snack that I loved before I embarked on my Keto diet was Cheez-Its. I adored the cheesy flavor, the crunchiness, and the delicious browned edges. It wasn’t uncommon for me to polish of an entire box of them in one sitting, either. Now when I buck heads with my Cheez-It craving, I just whip…

Creamy Herb Butter with Radishes

Give me a delicious herb butter and I’ll eat it off of anything. Seriously. It’s no secret that I am fond of Ina Garten, aka the Barefoot Contessa.  During one episode, she made a batch of delicious looking sandwiches that are filled with crispy radishes and creamy butter — apparently very popular in France. While…

Salami and Cream Cheese Cannoli

Growing up, one of my best and fondest memories was when my mother would have various food-related parties like Pampered Chef and Tastefully Simple.  I’m pretty sure I loved these because the food was always delicious and I got to learn about a bunch of new kitchen gadgets.  Mind you, this was from the tender…
