Hi, I'm Dom! For as long as I can remember, I've suffered from digestive issues that also affected my mental health.
For years, I lived off of Imodium AD -- an anti-diarrheal medication that induces constipation. I couldn't leave my home without them.
Eventually Imodium stopped working ... and that was the moment I knew I needed to try something else.
I saw doctors and tried different pharmaceuticals, but didn't notice lasting change to my sensitive gut.
Maybe food was a part of it?
Finding Keto
One day, I serendipitously stumbled upon a forum dedicated to a very low carb eating approach called the ketogenic diet.
There were so many wonderful weight loss success stories and even tales of people dramatically improving their health conditions like acid reflux and IBS (my diagnosis at the time).
I knew I had to give it a shot!
Almost immediately after starting a Keto diet, I had tremendous improvement with my digestive issues.
In addition, I had less anxiety, clearer skin and was able to drop excess weight relatively effortlessly (80 pounds!).
It's been a life-changing journey, to say the least!
Food Philosophy
My food philosophy can be summed up to -- "Make it work!"
My goal is to make to make the Keto diet realistic and sustainable in today's world.
At this point in time, food is more than just fuel. It's woven into society.
Make *your* choices work for YOU!
