    Try Atkins 20 carb program to get started and read all about it to understand the whole philosophy.

    My question to you is how big is that glass of wine you are consuming each day?? I would suggest staying off wine for three days until you kick start this type of eating.

    i have been eating super low carb for about three weeks and getting NOWHERE. Can’t even start. Plenty of people are willing to tell me how to deal with reaching a “plateau” but no one seems to be able to tell me how to start! I’ve examined my diet for hidden carbs–nothing. Does it take a month to get ketosis started? What’s up with this? I usually can’t stand the lack of goodies PLUS the lack of loss after about two weeks, and then I go crazy on carbs for one day, which makes me feel awful. I don’t gain any weight when this happens, I just don’t lose any EVER. HELPL! I’m also 66 years old and like to have a glass of wine every day for my heart.

      Maybe look into a fat fast or egg fast?

          It’s when you consume mostly eggs in different forms and keep your calories low for a few days. People do it to break stalls, usually.

      Are you doing grass fed butter and some type of good oil , MCT oil, organic coconut oil in coffee? And then do a 16 hour fast from 8pm to lunch the next day, all you have that morning is the coffee. It should send you into ketosis, this is what I had to do. It took me 6 weeks , I wish I would have known to fast 🙁
